Further to our recent publishment (see here), we would like to inform you that starting January 1, 2025, the ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization – Israel) system will be mandatory for all travelers from visa-exempt countries visiting Israel.
This new requirement signifies a vital change in Israel’s entry protocols, whereby travelers will need to apply for authorization online at least 72 hours before their journey. Each application will incur a fee of 25 NIS (approximately $7) and will be valid for up to two years, or until the passport expires, whichever comes first.
Please ensure that all impending travelers comply with this new regulation to facilitate their entry into Israel.
