Adv. Shmuel Glinka and Nati Agmon filed a petition with the High Court of Justice on behalf of a number of senior lawyers (Giora Ardnist, Zvi Bar Natan, Yosef Benkel, Nadav Wiseman, Israel Leshem et al), against the government’s decision to ordain a government committee for examining the conduct of the Department of Internal Police Investigations (DIP), contrary to the position of Attorney General.
They informed the Prime Minister that if he will not cancel the committee in the upcoming cabinet meeting, they will file a petition the High Court, under the claim of ‘electoral bribery’.
