Adi Zaltzman, Joseph Benkel, and Saul Adereth represented Knafei Nesharim Aviation Ltd. in a hostile takeover attempt (among the few in Israeli history) and in the purchase of NIS 364 million, as part of a public offering, of shares in El Al Airlines. The previous controlling shareholder attempted to appeal the acquisition of control and prevent it, but as stated on Rosh HaShana’s Eve, the matter was decided, and Knafei Nesharim Aviation acquired control of El Al.
