Partner Amir Frankl successfully represented Glicksman Egg Marketing (1994) Ltd. in the class action suit against the biggest egg distributors in the country (Glicksman and Tnuva) for a total of 83 million NIS.
The District Court rejected the plaintiff’s request that stated that the companies were marketing eggs marked as L/XL size but which weighed less than they were supposed to. The District Court accepted Glicksman’s claim that according to the law, the weight of the eggs is according to their weight when they are sorted, and not afterward.
