Einat Widberg, Itzik Cohen-Yehonatan, and Omer Weiss represented the Samaria dairies in a merger with the Golan Heights dairies (owned by kibbutzim Ortal, Sasa, Ein Zivan Gadot, and the heirs of the late Rafi Eitan). The merged dairy’s competitive ability to allow it to become the fourth largest dairy in Israel (after Tnuva, Strauss, and Terra). As part of the merger, the Samaria Dairies’ cheese production plant will be moved from Binyamina to the Golan Heights, and the logistics center of the Samaria Dairies, in the Hefer Valley, will be used by the merged company. The shareholders in Samaria Dairies will hold 40% of the merged company, whose annual turnover will be over NIS 100 million.
