This week, our clients completed a complex process of intergenerational transfer. We were happy to represent a couple in their 50s, the woman having two children from her previous marriage, and together the couple has three young children, one with special needs.
The woman is a partner in a company that had an exit, and as a result, the family has multiple assets and several businesses.
As part of handling the couple’s matters, and being represented by partner Shiri Malca, we assessed the family assets, safeguarded the properties for the children, took care of the child with special needs through a special trust, and more.
In addition, we established a philanthropic foundation that distributes its profits annually and which will be managed by the couple’s children.
