We view pro bono services as integral to the work of any modern law firm, and are proud to advise a number of noteworthy non-profit organizations, listed below.

SAFE & HOME, THE MICHAL SELA HACKATHON

Michal Sela was brutally murdered in her own home in the presence of her baby daughter. The accused in the murder is her husband and her daughter's father. From within her grief, her sister Lily Ben Ami founded the "Michal Sela Forum" with the goal of saving the next murder victim through creative "out of the box" thinking and the use of advanced technologies in time of crisis as well as in prevention and raising awareness to warning signals.

9900 Alumni Association

9900 Alumni Association

The 9900 Alumni Association, a non-profit organization, was founded by and for members who served in Unit 9900, a prestigious visual intelligence and terrain analysis unit of the Israel Defense Forces. The goals of the association are to develop a network of alumni members, support and promote them, and assist their business and social initiatives.

Hillel Israel

While young Israelis speak Hebrew and follow the cycle of the Jewish calendar, many perceive Judaism as only a religion. They view Jewish tradition as outdated, inaccessible, or irrelevant to their lives. Hillel Israel seeks to emphasize the relevance of Jewish life to today’s Israeli students and young adults, inspiring them to explore their Jewish identity and to feel a sense of belonging to “The Global Jewish People.” Hillel Israel engages over 20,000 Israeli students per year in meaningful Jewish experiences.

The Israel Innovation Institute is a non-profit “think and do tank” bringing innovative technology and knowledge into real-world settings. The Institute enables and manages the development, testing, and the demonstration of scalable, innovative solutions to global challenges.

House of Wheels

House of Wheels

Since 1979, House of Wheels has provided a range of vital services for people with impaired mobility, mainly due to cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy. The association's programs serve some 500 children and adults, teaching leadership and life skills while simultaneously offering fun social activities.

Gvahim ("Heights") is a nonprofit organization committed to fostering business and career success for new immigrants from around the world, helping them realize their professional aspirations in Israel and maximizing their contributions to Israeli society.

Keren Shemesh is a unique philanthropic organization that aims to assist and support talented young Israeli entrepreneurs who are seeking to establish their first business, creating vital jobs in the community.

Kiryat Yearim Youth Village

Kiryat Yearim Youth Village

Kiryat Yearim is a youth village established by the Jewish Agency to provide schooling, cultural activities, and emotional support to at-risk children. In addition to Shibolet's pro bono legal services, founding partner Richard M. Roberts also serves as secretary of the Kiryat Yearim board of directors.

Raanana Symphonette Orchestra

Raanana Symphonette Orchestra

This unique orchestra was founded in 1991 to bring together talented musicians from the former Soviet Union, and has since risen to become a huge international success. Shibolet partner Yaacov Yisraeli was instrumental in the orchestra's formation, and continues to be actively involved as its chairman.

Ramat Hadassah Youth Village

Ramat Hadassah Youth Village

Established by the Jewish Agency in 1949, the youth village today provides a stable environment for more than 300 at-risk children who benefit from customized educational programs and extracurricular activities. Shibolet's founding partner Richard M. Roberts is the Ramat Hadassah Company Secretary.

Nitzotzot

Nitzotzot

Nitzotzot brings leading professionals (such as lawyers, accountants, doctors, and engineers) into public schools to serve as valuable role models for underprivileged children. Shibolet's attorneys generously contribute their time and resources to this volunteer program and partner Gadi Ouzan serves as its pro bono legal counsel.

The Spirit of Israel

The Spirit of Israel

Founded by the Jewish Agency and Keren Hayesod in 1998, the Spirit of Israel promotes social activism, reduces socioeconomic gaps, and provides vital solutions for at-risk children. It is staffed by volunteers from businesses all over Israel, including Shibolet, who contribute funds, time, and expertise.
