Michael is an Associate in the High-Tech Department specializing in data and technology regulation.
Michael provides ongoing legal counsel to clients, from early-stage startups to multinational corporations with complex operations. Michael advises on various issues related to digital information management within organizations, including developing internal data management policies, addressing cybersecurity incidents and data breaches, guiding negotiations in agreements involving data transfers and information security, navigating regulatory inspections and audits, crafting practical solutions for addressing the applicability of foreign legislation such as the GDPR, and advising clients on strategies to mitigate legal exposure stemming from violations of data protection and privacy laws.
Michael has a vast background in privacy, cybersecurity, and technology policy at the national level and within the defense sector. He served for six years in the Military Advocate General’s Corps, where, in his last position, he led privacy-related matters within the Legal Advisory and Legislation Department and acted as the legal advisor to the IDF’s DATA and AI Division.
