Nilly’s practice focuses on banking and finance and credit insurance, including complex, cross-border and multi-party transactions, as well as banking and finance regulation.
Nilly possesses extensive experience in loans and syndications, secured and unsecured transactions, corporate finance, project finance, acquisition finance, asset-based finance, international trade finance, discount and factoring, documentary credit, credit letters and guarantees, credit and trade insurance, and debt and financial assets sell and purchase.
Nilly has advised on a multitude of intricate financial transactions, with a particular focus on credit insurance, credit risk mitigation, capital relief, risk participation, and the strategic structuring of innovative financial instruments to cater to the unique needs of her clients.
Additionally, Nilly regularly advises major Israeli and foreign clients on banking and financial regulation, with special care to its impact on market access and product development. Nilly is also especially skillful in inter-creditor relations, consumer credit and standardized contracts, payments and credit-card based transactions.
Prior to joining Shibolet & Co. Law Firm, Nilly served for a decade as in-house counsel for complex finance at the third largest bank in Israel, and as an attorney at the Israeli Ministry of Justice (International Agreements Unit). Before that she had worked for several years at the New York office of Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP (where she is also admitted to practice).

Throughout her academic studies Nilly served as a research assistant and a teaching assistant for several classes at the Tel Aviv University and New York University Schools of Law.
Nowadays she lectures on banking and finance and serves as a member of the Israeli Bar Association Banking and Finance Committee.
